gribtocdl parameter table

The table below explains the different GRIB parameters (#) recognized by gribtocdl and their corresponding name in the netCDF format. Units used in netCDF format is also shown where applicable.

Each parameter will have a name consisting of the name listed here plus an underscore and a suffix indicating the level type data is given for. If no suffix, the leveltype is Isobaric. Example: "u-component of wind" ("u") given in "Fixed Height Above Ground"-levels ("fhg") will be stored as parameter "u_fhg".

The level-suffices are described in the levels table.
